Free Wheels ODV is an association that works to trace and map walks for All, focusing on the accessibility of routes, hospitality and services to the traveler. It is committed to helping people with and without special needs to undertake a slow travel experience, providing them with the necessary tools to help them achieve their social independence.
Free Wheels Odv was funded by Pietro Scidurlo, a paraplegic boy from birth due to a medical error, who lives by doing what he has always been denied: walking. He has traveled the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago four times on his hand-bike and a total of about 9 thousand kilometers of walks throughout Europe. The camino gave him a new life and he wants everyone to experience it. He is the leading exponent of accessible tourism in Italy.
